Doug Williams has been released from his contract with TNA Wrestling.
Williams is a multi-time Television, X Division and Tag Team Champion. While not appearing on Impact Wrestling on a weekly basis, he has been acting as a trainer at TNA's developmental ground, Ohio Valley Wrestling. He was notably featured on the recent British Bootcamp series, putting Marty Scurll, Rockstar Spud and the Blossom Twins through their paces.

"Thank you to all the great fans support during the past four years. Time for bigger and better things...."

"A huge shame I won't get the chance to train with Rampage Jackson. What an honour that could have been."
